ihi, i just tried to import the new free soundpack on my brand new monomachine, when i imported it it has overwritten my own patterns and kit, how had i to import it? had i to use an other snapshot?
other question, can someone explain the snapshot, it s a bit confuse for me as my english is not perfect (as you can read :-))

You must save your sounds in a free snapshot first, then select another free snapshot to import the soundpack.
Saving your current Snapshot: Select the FILE row in the GLOBAL EDIT menu. Then select SNAPSHOTS and press [ENTER/YES]. In the MODE column, select SAVE and press [ENTER/YES].
Load a new empty Snapshot. Select the FILE row in the GLOBAL EDIT menu. Select SNAPSHOTS and press [ENTER/YES]. Choose LOAD in the MODE column and select an empty position in the list.

A snapshot is a copy of the entire memory of the Monomachine.
In the global edit under file I don’t see a snapshot option, it just has sysex send/recv and digipro mgr
^ do you have a plus drive?
I do not have a plus drive, however was told in antother thread that this wouldnt make a difference, havent tried yet, but I dont believe that, to be honest …
It does make a difference. You need to sysex dump your kits and patterns first on the computer, if you don´t have the +Drive. Otherwise it will get overwritten.
