i’m thinking to change my apollo for an audient id44 + 2 asp 800 converter because need more input than the only 8+2 input of apollo+adat and 4 output (including the monitor out).
is sound of apollo much better of sound of the id44 ?
i had read that latency of audient is low and the mix interface is good .
anyone have changed the apollo for the audient?
ps. i don’t need fx 0 latency when recording my synth in daw…
I have audient id14, it sounds good, no hiccups, it has 0 ms monitoring latency.
are you a Mac or windows user?
Win 10, and before that win7 . 0 ms monitoring , by that i mean, you root your audio inputs trough the daw channels, but you mute the tracks inside the daw, and you are listening what you are playing trough the audient soft mixer.
i understand , now I do the same thing with UAD console , in the uad softmix I have active the direct monitoring while in Ableton not…but the audient mix have a fx section , insert or is it done only for routing?
