Great  Do you use the Aux input?

Splitter cables with TRS to 2 x TS are hard to find. I use a cable from 1010music:

I didn’t use it with cable yet. Just BT . Thanks for link mate ! :v: i was just listening to the music and im quite surprised with quality

I’ve also thinking about routing it with separate cables from my Digitakt . Left channel to left and right to right speaker . Will it work ?

It will work  just take care to start with the lowest volume since the DT sends a pretty hot signal, you gotta find the sweet spot.

Yes, this should possible when you use two separate TS cables (because the DT delvers an balanced signal when using TRS cables).

The splitter cable I recommended is probably not suitable for such large speakers anyway, because the spliss position is too close to the two TS plugs. I hadn’t considered that earlier.

They are cool for listening, less cool for music making

Slap a TE logo on there and you can resell them for a grand each, easy.

They look a lot like the IKEA Eneby speakers that I have, hopefully they don’t have the crappy auto gain compensation compressor built in like the Eneby which renders them useless for portable jams. To check play a drum machine in it, at a fairly decent level, then mute the kick, if the other sounds get louder then it has the same issue as Eneby.

Yeah , the purpose I bought them was more music listening. I have very limited space so far , and studio monitors probably would be a waste of money. Im using headphones for music making. Though i will use them for some reference and jam and fun, but of course not mixing and mastering . And like the design

Yeah , those are gen 3 . I will test it. But probably is the same as you wrote.

Overall they sound decent, like you I use the Eneby for music listening and they are fine for that, for portable jams I use another Swedish speaker the Audio Pro Addon T3+ which don’t have built in compression, they are IMHO actually good enough for use as monitors as they are fairly flat across the range.

As big as the overall case is, looks like they have room to make the main speaker much larger.

…look how far some nice teenage engineering designs can carry…

Are they part of the Teenage Engineering colab that IKEA did?

Don’t think so , those are not longer available.

How is the latency through the aux input? Some BT speakers add horrible latency on the aux for whatever reason

If using two for stereo, do you have to connect them using a physical cable?

I have an Eneby as well. The sound is not wow. The bass though sounds nice. I use it as a guitar speaker for my amp sim and for my groove boxes.

What I love about it is that it has 0 latency on Line In.

Most speakers apply DSP even on Line In and they have latency which is not cool.
