Not sure if this is the right place to get help on this. I have some Final Audio E4000s and the left side is notably louder than the right. I’ve confirmed this by listening to different audio sources/devices and checking different ears - definitely them and not me.
I’ve done research. I’ve tried dunking the driver into hot water a few times (as suggested by the shop I bought them from) and letting it dry. No change. (Obviously this was without the rubber bud.)
Other videos suggest putting rubbing alcohol on the mesh, or even sticking toothpicks in to prod at the (possible) build-up of wax. However the E4000s have such a fine mesh (it actually looks like no mesh at all - the holes, if they’re there at all, are imperceptible.)
I don’t have access to another cable, but that’s another thing to try if all else fails.
So given all this, any thoughts on what I could try, or do I need to send them back to be properly fixed?
Thank you in advance!
