Glad you’re liking the SSL Six. Your mixes are sounding great! I remember when I had my Yamaha Mg10xu, I would try and get all my mix right before recording the stereo out into my daw. If one sounds was too high or low, it would throw the whole mix. Does the SSL comp help bring everything together, volume-wise, in this scenario pretty well?

Totally! that g compressor really helps.

sequencer (controls)-> synths (with)-> EFX (on each)-> SSL channel (with)-> SSL G compressor -> main outputs of the mixer to a RT-707 tape machine. then I take that, and record it. then post to sound cloud.

So to answer your question, Once I have everything the way I want, I hit play on the sequencer, and record everything to one stereo track on the tape player.
