He was very lucky to be part of your family. You gave him the best life, and you’ll carry him in your heart for the rest of yours.

Sorry for your loss. It’s a tough hill to climb. We lost one of our boys a year ago - he ate a bag of grapes and thousands of dollars later at the vets office he died anyways. Happy dog one day, the next day he was gone. It sucked so bad. My girlfriend hasn’t forgiven herself for leaving the grapes out on the counter.

No matter how long they actually make it, it’s always way too short with our dogs. But he surely had - and very much appreciated - an amazing life with you and his furry friend. Ava now needs you more than ever now, too. Take care of each other

I’m so sorry. Losing a dog is rough. Pets really are family. Grief is universal yet so specific and personal. Get and give hugs. So sorry. I will pour some out the next time I have a cider.

RIP Cooper!
I lost my uncle and my dad in a span of 5 year both to cancer and that was also really devastating.
I feel like the sayign of “time heals all wounds” is BS if you ask me…if at all it maybe starts hurting less but it cannot heal totally. I think I have a happy-tank in my sould and everytime someone dies, that was responsible of filling a little into this tank, their portion goes with them.
memories are important. pictures. than they never fully die as they are remembered a second life time.
I am sure coop hat a wunderful life with his sister and you should never stop loving dogs.
