About getting it to run on Win7:

Overbridge installation failed

There is a procedure to get Overbridge BETA running under Windows 7. I’ll guess it may work on Windows 8, too.

Additional tips for newcomers (not for you, but for other readers):

Overbridge no device showing

Overbridge BETA version and firmware version must match (as they are listed in the corresponding Overbridge BETA download thread). Don’t upgrade one without the other. The USB mode of the device must be set to Overbridge mode.
