I tried to look at it logically while in high school. I was an excellent drummer. Great rhythm. Great timing. Better hand foot coordination than any of the athletes in school. Yet, I could not dance. Most of the athletes could not dance either.
Years and years later I heard a line in an Alma song, “Dance like there’s nobody there.” … Good advice.
I don’t judge people on their ability to parallel park, but they have to eventually get to a reasonable result. If they block two spaces, that’s not good. If they stick out into the street, bad for cyclists. Dancing, on the other hand, has no lasting effect on others (unless you kick someone or step on them). If someone doesn’t like looking at you, they can look away.
