Not necessarily! That was just, as i thought, the logical approach when I set things up some time ago. But I didn’t/don’t really have any idea what other options there are—so thank you very much, I’ll take a look at that!

I’m using two routers, Iconnect Mio10, and Iconnect MIDI4.
I prefer the older software, don’t like the new Auracle.
Plus the older models seem better to me, eg you can connect 2 computers/IOS devices to the Mio10, and up to 3 to the MIDI4. Very handy if you’ve got a big setup!
I do recommend getting your MIDI flowing as well as possible before even thinking about the audio side.
