the guy was in LA according to the listing. but yes, always a good idea to be cautious, although reverb is a pretty safe bet for getting your money back.
I do notice the account is not suspended, whatever that means.
Last photo in the listing is their other stuff for sale, no other Elektron stuff mentioned. I just don’t see someone listing something on CL for $1500, and listing it on Reverb for $250 less, when they also have to pay close to 10% in fees.

agreed seems the reverse of legit.
I will say this though - people who frequently deal on craigslist sometimes pad the price because that is where the lowballing begins and ends. the reverb price had no make offer option.

The Reverb listing wasn’t actually sold, just unlisted.
sellers remorse? maybe he got a bite at the higher craigslist price? hard to say. I’m not buying it so doesn’t really bother me either way lol
I didn’t pay very close attention to the other items but there was a rytm mk2 and I think that looper was listed, at least 1 other item as well.
Yeah, I’m just super cautious with new users on Reverb, hopefully it’s all legit and I’m just being paranoid.

museum condition sid station. at $1584 the price is about competitive with other sid stations available but if you look at the pics this thing just stepped out of a time machine. it is head and shoulders above other offerings. someone was clearly hording this for chiptunes on doomsday.
