Is it possible to trigger manually more than 8 samples (not at the same time) ? I know I can trigger the Sample trigs (9 to 16) corresponding to the sample allocated for each track.
I have heard about Sample locks but when I lock a sample per trig then when the PLAY button is pushed the trigs are automatically triggered by the steps related. And I want to trigger it only manually.
if you load samples into the static/flex sample slots and then use the keyboard in ‘slots’ mode, that might give you what you need?
- +1 for slot mode, preferably FLEX to avoid clicks (make tests)
- Slice mode
- Plays Free Tracks 1-8 with plocks / Trigs 9-16 with track parameters (this way every trig can have a different sample and / or different settings)
SLOTS
Plays Free Tracks / Trigs 9-16 (different comb filters freq for each)
Thanks for the replies. When I use the slot mode then I cannot have tracks playing meanwhile because then it stops the tracks…
It is possible to trigger manually more than 8 samples, but not at the same time.
Your original post may be ambiguous (at least to me). OT tracks are monophonic : each track cannot play more than 1 sample at once.
You can play up to 8 audio tracks maximum.
Ok sorry it was not as clear as I thought. I have 2 tracks playing. And while they are playing I want to be able to trigger (not at the same time) more than (8-2=) 6 samples (from other tracks) without having to scroll in the menu to find my samples and trigger them. I would love to have them available on the steps to be triggered. And if I use the slots mode and I trigger on the samples the two other tracks are stopped. I hope it’s more clear.
EDIT : Okay I understand now why my tracks where stopped. Because the track selected was the one playing. I had to switch to another track empty. Thank you very much. The slots mode was the answer for me !
