Hello! I’m relatively new to the digitakt 2, and have been multi tracking it on logic pro successfully for a bit, though not as efficiently as i’d like to. My biggest problem is the fact that i cannot figure out how to record my external synth (minilogue xd) directly to logic pro with my digitakt 2 on over bridge mode acting as an audio interface. As a matter of fact, when using over bridge with my d2 and synth, my synth is turned into a midi keyboard for whatever trig i have selected, which is not what I want by any means. The only way I can get my synth recorded while connected to my d2 is by changing the mode to audio/midi; and with that method I can only record it to a trig that’s in midi mode. Any help would be appreciated. And i’ll answer any questions you can to help you help me!
This might not help directly … because I don’t know whether Elektron devices can be used as digital audio interfaces anyway …
My suggestion is, please check in the manuals whether OB is transmitting
- audio generated by Elektron devices only, OR
- a mix of incoming external audio and the digital audio from your Elektron device
If the second case is true, a solution for your problem should exist.
Using mixers all the time I didn’t need to check for this capability myself
