Hello there i just bought a Syntakt so there are a lot of very basic function that i cannot understand, one of this is the preview of sounds from the sound browser…
Imagine i am looking for the right crash in Ableton…so i filter for cymbals and i have a list of sounds , but clicking on them does not play any sound…the only way i found until now is to load the sounds into a track…is that the only way?

With the sound highlighted in the sound browser on your device, press FUNC and YES to audition the sound.
I’m not aware of any way to preview using overbridge in ableton, but I don’t use it very often so maybe someone else has some other relevant information.

I think I’ve sent a feature request in the past for Transfer and patch management + device playback, but it’s a good reminder to send another email.
