My question is primarily aimed at those who move in different genres and operate under different artist names.
In the past i self-released some EPs in the downtempo/hip hop genre as “Astrokill”. but i always produced some uptempo/house things as well. i would like to focus on the latter genre for the next months and think that releasing under the name Astrokill would not be a good move.
Therefore i’m planning to release under a new name. When i look at distribution services it’s starts pricewise to make sense to act as a “label”. but this seems a bit silly to me, having a label for my 2 music projects 
how did you solve this situation? what are the pros and cons for having/not having a label for the projects?
With Soundcloud Pro you can distribute to online services like Spoitfy and Apple Music as different artists. You can also set up multiple Bandcamp pages for the different artists and if you need the extra tools they provide you can use a Pro account.
