Hi, I struggle with connecting and setting A4 and Roland tr8 to play together. I dont have mixer now (but its on the way:). I do have studio monitors (krk). Thank you guys.
I don’t know TR8 options, but
If TR8 was MIDI clock Master (send clock & transport) then enable A4 clock and transport receive
Connect TR midi out to A4 midi in / Connect TR8 audio outputs to A4 inputs
Set External Inputs level to hear TR through A4

You may know already that you can synchronize the playback of the Analog Four and the TR-8 using MIDI clock messages. You could choose the TR-8 to be the master and the AF to be the slave, in which case the settings for the AF are kindly provided by @avantronica above.
Until you get your mixer, you can listen to both instruments at the same time by connecting the main audio outputs of one to the external audio inputs of the other.
