On a serious note, many standard OT tricks can be used have your risers going.
A white noise sample, manually played with trig buttons and several scenes you can switch and fade between for filter + modulation for example.
One shot trigs (maybe + fill to change some other stuff in the pattern - fills can be activated manually, latched or activated at next loop cycle) or plays free tracks (one shot if you like).
Ofc you can also use synths, maybe on a thru track for additional fx. With some scenes setup, thereās so much you can do and the crossfader makes it easy to bring stuff in and out perfectly in time.
