How do people dance to this techno?

I don’t mean how can people dance to this techno?! but rather what sort of dance moves do people bust to this techno when it is played in da club…?

if i were dropping this in a set, it would be more of a bridge track between bigger peak energy stuff. but the chords are programmed groov-ily enough.

But what are people supposed to do with themselves on the dance floor in those moments? I always feel a bit foolish… checking the time on my Swatch or combing my hair, trying to look natural…

And another question… back in the day did people go to dance when Muslimgauze played?

Heads down grooving along. Thats a tasty track, i love that moody dubby techno sound

hit a wave… and freeze, then back to it on the drop.

Im really not joking about this.

Would a pop n lock into a lean back be ok?

As with everything in relation to music… there are no rules.

With reckless abandon, please just move your body.

I haven’t been to da club in like 20 years to be honest but I do feel like my moves have gotten better despite that…

you just gotta find the vibe and move however your body wants to

go watch old videos of warehouse shows in the 90’s, people dancing however they felt like, and it looked fuckin great

who cares about that tho so long as you’re in the moment and in the groove

Depends how mashed up I am.

I’m told I once spent about 15 minutes throwing shapes at a car alarm going off at 4am in Manchester.

I also once tried to start a conga line at a Sunn O))) gig. It didn’t go well.

I’d have to be fairly mash up to dance to the OP track though, it’s a bit slow for me.

I’ve never combed my hair on a dancefloor though, that’s a wild move.

Edit: I’ve just realised I haven’t answered the how part of the question.

The answer to that is like a twat.

Dance however you feel like dancing. I think of dancing as an active form of meditation, where I’m translating the sound into motion with my body. When I’m dancing I’m not trying to look cool, I’m just processing the sound. I’ve been told I’m a good dancer, but I don’t “know how to dance” – think I just have an innate sense of rhythm (time).

I love mono junk, also his electro stuff. ideally its dark, almost empty with enough space and not many people can see how i can not dance, would be perfect groovy for me.

Combing your hair on the dancefloor should only be done if the end result is a new style than where your hair begun.

I’m bald, so that’d be fucking challenging.

That’s the reason people sneak in toupees with their drugs!

I’ve always just given the bouncers a couple of freebies.

Because they’re almost always completely bald.
