Thanks to all who replied on this. I know what I can and cant do now so will just try and get on with it. I replaced the original message here. I explained my issue better below. No need for any more replies

itās page + copy, and then go to the other page(s) and press page + paste
if you mean four trigs (steps), then hold the four trigs (with four fingers), press copy (this will put those 4 steps into the clipboard). then press 5 and paste, press 9 and paste, press 13 and paste. (alternatively just set page length to four steps.)
for performance or for working on your fill?
Copy Bar 1 Across All Bars (All Tracks)
To be clear ā is it not possible to simply copy Bar 1 of a 4-bar pattern (all tracks, all data) and paste it across Bars 2, 3, and 4, replacing the existing content?
To put it plainly: Iāve edited Bar 1 of a four bar loop and I prefer the groove. I now want to erase Bars 2, 3, and 4 and replace them with copies of Bar 1 across every track ā effectively extending Bar 1 to fill the entire 4-bar pattern.
In a DAW this is a two-second operation. How do you achieve this on the Tonverk?
Loop and Edit a Single Bar in Isolation
Similarly ā if I want to isolate Bar 4 of a 4-bar pattern, loop just that bar, and edit it in place whilst the sequencer is running and it loops only a bar of my choosing, how is that done on the Tonverk?
Copy / paste all tracks page is not possible.
There is PAGE AUTOCOPY option, allowing to extend and repeat what you already sequenced, but it works only if you didnāt already write / record several pages.
Maybe a workaround to make it work even after ?
Tonverk isnāt a performance looper in the same way that Octatrack is, if thatās what you mean?
Page loop : grid recording mode (rec button lit), hold PAGE, press down arrow, select page.
Copy / paste all tracks page is not possible
That would explain my hair pulling

I know about this and hoped there would be an opposite process. Converting my four bar loop in to one bar whist it erases the data I didnt need and then I could extend the one bar of data I want to keep.
Thanks for taking the time to reply
Not what Iām looking for
I meant looping/copying/pasting a particular section of a sequence/pattern during the writing process.
i wrote how to do it: you can copy as many trigs you have fingers at once per track.
Should be, as we can have up to 64 tracks and 16 pages ! Problem common to all Elektrons.
Feature request.
I gave pattern autocopy āresetā a try by reducing a 4 bars pattern to 1 bar, copy pattern elsewhere: autocopy doesnāt work, previously recorded 4 bars are also copied.
What is possible per track is to copy first page, clear track sequence, paste first page. Then autocopy works.
Sometimes Iād like to have more fingersā¦![]()
Apparently the OG user formerly known as Tonverk wants to copy all tracks pageā¦
Setting the tracks to 4 steps/trigs length should do it.
I do that often for hihats and rumbles, tweak until I am happy and extend if necessary. My suggestion to you, @tnvrk ![]()
