This was the 1st to pop into my mind. I had this record back in the day and thought it was Marc Kinchen/MK for the longest time

This was the 2nd to pop into my mind…

It’s all subjective of course but I feel it’s not quite the right fit for the thread. It’s more on a deep techno vibe.

Let me steer it back in the right direction

Maybe a obvious one, but Ten Days of Blue is a good one that I still revisit…

Detroit Escalator Company is another one that comes to mind. Technically Black Buildings came out in the early 2000s, but still has a 90s vibe in my mind…

Absolutely timeless album.

That Tetsu Inoue album…holy works indeed. Here are two of my faves:

  1. Strobe Light Network: Cold. I was really into the techno Re:Load was putting out in the early-mid 90s, and this gorgeous piece felt like it came out of nowhere.

  1. HIA + Biosphere: Polar Sequences. This has held up remarkably well. It perfectly captures, at least in my imagination, the environmental context in which it was created.

I knew this album for a few years already but after a particularly magical experience in California listening to this, it all made sense.

So turns out this little gem is currently selling on Discogs for £250.00

Maybe a bit of stretch to call this ambient techno but I’ll drop this here anyway, you guys can be the judge. Timeless classic!!

Just got round to listening to these two, both amazing, thanks for posting! I’ve added them to the playlist
