so I found myself with 2 secondhand machinedrums, I was wondering why each came with different power adaptors.
The 2 machinedrums are the SPS-1 MK II and the SPS-1 MK II UW.
Both adaptors have *nearly the same specs, 6V 0.8A but the small one shows 3.0A and the larger one, which came with the UW model, shows 3.5A
Does the UW model really require the additional half amp? Of course, I am not too educated on these things lol
One thing makes me think the small adaptor is a newer and possibly improved one, it says “ELEKTRON PSU-2 REV B” while the larger one (with the extra half amp) shows only “ELEKTRON PSU-2”
Are they the same? Is the “REV B” newer and better? Both? Am I wasting my time wondering about this?
