I’m gonna set up later today still but before I do that…
I don’t really wanna start a thread to ask but my power bank for my digitakt1 has died when I plugged it in last night and it kinda smoked a little before it did so.
Obviously I’m hoping I haven’t bricked my Digitakt, does anyone know who’s not a caveman like myself with these sort of things know if a cheaper replacement from somewhere like MyVolts is just as suitable?
Either way,It looks like I’m using Ableton in the next one

In my experience it’s always better to splash a little extra and get the real deal replacement. Unfortunately the cheaper alternatives always end up being more expensive in the long run (unless you buy a Digitakt II of course!?

Yeah you might be right, I can see the problem now ive looked again, the wire has frayed at the point it enters the power box
Haha a Digi2 is certainly tempting I usually treat myself with something coming up to the December holidays so I’m not ruling it out, when my power cable for my sampletrak broke it took me about 5 years to get it replaced because I ended up getting a digitakt 1
