Its the weird timestreching that the old mpcs used. I tried to recreate this with akaizer (free) on my pc by recording myself and then i used these settings (play around with the pitch and timestrech factor until it sounds right)

I think if you had a bit of reverb, and a beat in the background, I wouldn’t pass a double-blind test
