Hi all,
I wanted to say hello as I’ve often read, but only just signed up for an account. Thanks to everyone on here for so much great advice for the RYTM.
I’m looking at STROM and hogging my partners I-pad, I see lots of cheap camera connection kits - I hate throwing plastic into landfill - does anyone have one to recommend, or should stump up the money for an official one?
I know I could have searched this, but I really wanted to say hello :slight_smile:

If you have a Mac computer, STROM connects to the AR wireslessly via SDS Drop and it’s awesome

I’d buy an official one so you don’t have that uncertainty, tbh!

+1 on official. Just don’t both with knock offs.

The wireless ness would daisy-chain? I cant find the promised cigar holder though. Very disappointed.

Thanks everyone for the advice - I bought a cheap MacBook charger once and it lasted less than a week.

Its not even about the longevity of the product - IIRC Apple peripherals have some sort of DRM circuits inside of them, so the knockoffs might not work at all as intended. That’s Apple for you I guess… :thdw:
