Help with midi please

Hello!

So yeah after watching all tutorials and that I still can’t figure this out…

Octatrack running as a master and the SH-01A is a slave.
But the SH-01a is ONLY playing its internal sequencer when I press play on Octatrack.
Sh-01a can not even playing any tones with the ribbon controller or with the Octatrack keys when I have it hooked with the Octatrack.

I want to be available to have a cleared pattern on my SH-01a then send notes from the octatrack I have managed in the MIDI-Track (All set to Channel 1).

I want the Octatrack to be the Master Seq.
I would also like to play notes from the Octatrack-keybed
How can this be set up?

Try Page 102 of the manual, it should get you sorted!

Thank u! Even if I set Midi channel 1 and set it up on Track 1 In the main menu I still need to go into one more menu and set the Midi Channel 1 to Track 1. It is weird but now I got it!
