I am experiencing some problems while sending CC signals to a Korg Minilogue (MIDI) on MIDI channel 1. This is the problem: I am trying to control cutoff and resonance (Minilogue cc 43 and 44) plus delay time and feedback (cc 30 and 31) from the Digitakt while running some patterns on the MIDI tracks. Delay controls work (CC 30 and 31) but cutoff and resonance do not, the Minilogue is not reacting.
I even tried a midi monitor to make sure that a signal was sent on CC 43 and 44… as you can see from the pics, it does send signals BUT the “predefined” CCs “expression” and “effect control” - although they are found under #43 and #44 - are not even numbered and in no case affect the corresponding CC on the Minilogue (cut off and resonance).
What am I missing?
Seeing generic name only is annoying but it doesn’t prove CC43 and CC44 are not sent.
Can’t your midi monitor display CC numbers ? It seems to receive the right Effect Control 1 message though.
Choose another midi monitor maybe.
Check Minilogue parameters…
The numbers are shown just for CC which are numbered on the Digitakt (see above pics, for example 30 “Delay Time” and 31 “Delay Feedback” on the Minilogue). For the others (43 and 44) just the predefined name is shown “Expression” and “Effect Control 1” which should be respectively CC 43 and 44 and control Cut Off and Resonance on the Minilogue.
Have you enabled them on the other screen ( digitakt) ?
Tried sending one at a time
Assigned each to dial1 .
Tried midi / usb / different device .
Running latest dt firmware
Tried them on another midi track
Ensured dt is midi cc not nrpn
I wouldn’t be concerned that the text isn’t showing 43 etc.
