Help! Pitch retrigered or something else

Help! Pitch retriggered or something else

Hi! I’m Learning octatrack, and can’t resolve the next situation.

Flex track, Chromatic mode. I change track pitch, and it changed but just while when the trigger key pressed. When pushing the next trigger, the pitch is the default, however, the value of the pitch is changed (not 0).

This is a video demonstration of the problem

What is it? How to fix it, Help, please!

I’m not sure to get it but :
The Pitch parameter doesn’t transpose notes you play with chromatic mode. They override and also use Pitch setting.
(Recorded notes in chromatic mode have plocked Pitch)

If you want to transpose you can use a fixed lfo on Pitch, and/or Rate (32=-1 octave, 16=-2 octaves…).

Oh damn! If I know that sample is note G, and I can’t transpose it to C, or change the root note, for using correct keys when playing?

In that case you can apply a -7 semitones pitch with a fixed lfo.
Inverted square
Depth = 7x5 = 35
Speed 0

In that case you’re limited to 25-7=18 notes. Maybe something to do with Rate…

Closest Rate values I found for transposing and keep 25 chromatic notes :

Semitones / Rate
-1 / 60
-2 / 57
-3 / 54
-4 / 51
-5 / 48
-6 / 45
-7 / 43
-8 / 40
-9 / 38
-10 / 36
-11 / 34
-12 / 32
