Help me setup my gear

I come from software world, , after i got A4 i got hooked. So, in March, i am coming back from long time job. Saved money for gear. So when i come back i want to be making music ASAP. My setup should look like this:
Tanzbar (main drums)
Analog Four (extra “different” percussions)
Analog keys (basses, synths)
Volca Bass or Eowave Domino (acidy)

Analog keys is now in my list regardless of A4 because of the keys and outputs.
Dont suggest different pieces of gear. I contemplated 4 months how my setup should look like. You will just confuse me again. :slight_smile:
I want to know few things:

  1. whats the best way to sync them up so every device plays from his internal seguencer?
    I need the guide how to setup MIDI cables without the use of patchbay.
  2. ill need a mixer with at least 6 mono and 4 stereo inputs, no need for fx, cause ill add some outboard ones and use them as send (mixer should alslo have that option)
  3. suggest a good stand for all of these babies…

the midi is not the difficult. your midi path should look something like this.
A4keys midi out to A4. A4 midi thru to Tanzbar. Tanzbar midi thru to volca. Or you could send cv out to volca and Tanzbar as well from the A4,but thats a whole other can of worms. As far as mixers your going to need a 16 track mixer.

thanks… so that means that usually all mixer labeled as “16 tracks mixer” should have 4 stereo tracks??

edit: analog keys outputs 4 sound in stereo??
