Heat on master bus in Ableton

When exporting, does it render with Heat or should I resample the master channel to an audio channel instead? Thanks

I think Live renders in realtime when tracks with External Instrument and/or External Audio Effect are present.

Edit
Yes, it does:

Should work on the master track as well.

Heat is analog so you have to record the results.

When used with OB, setting AH plugin on a channel act as a plugin, so the sound go to the AH, be processed and go back to your channel via USB.
So if you set the plugin on the master bus, It will process your sound and the master out will be wet.
Do not use the plugin on multiple channel at the same time.

Thanks for answering. I can’t use it on several channels currently anyway. It mutes itself.

This is only true for playback in Live. When exporting you need to do what Schnork wrote.

Oh ok, I never used ableton, just read about overbridge
