Has the pandemic killed the golden age of synths?

Many I’m sure are also super sick of being online 24/7 so music, art, etc gives us the opportunity to be present.

Just look how synths are being released left and right. Even Waldorf, always late to the party brought the Iridium in 2020, now the Waldorf M in 2021.

The term golden age doesn’t really give credit to the situation. We’re basically swimming in gear, new, old, cheap, premium and everything inbetween.

A lot of staff is getting more and more difficult to get, not just studio audio gear. Furniture, industry parts, chips, etc. What you can get, is geting more expensive.
I am going to ikea tomorrow, i have heard they have been working with half capacity .
