Hi,
I couldn’t find a thread, so I’ve just opened a new one. Here’s a demo of the GRP Synthesizer A1, a monophonic semi-modular analog desktop synth. Maybe you find it interesting.

Thanks for posting this ! I’ve seen the big GRP’s but not this one. It’s 600 euros here, which is a very good price ! I think the vco/vcf are discrete ? But I’m not sure.
It’s a great synth! Super compact and sleek and sounds fantastic. Expensive but very focused and classy
Couldn’t find too much on the A1, but from the few videos available I think it sounds fantastic!
Does anyone else have one they can speak to? @ddiamond84 wondering if it feels nice to patch? Seems pretty compact, but I can’t imagine Grp putting anything out that doesn’t feel like a nice experience
It feels VERY nice! Looks aren’t everything, but their stuff looks and feels top notch, premium!
Bought it as a chirstmas gift a few weeks ago. It’s smaller than it seems and the knobs are a bit fiddly to turn…too close to each other… aaand that’s the only con for it. Everything else is really top shelf stuff. The oscillator is nice thick and bright. The filter is its own thing at 18db/oct, very clean and crisp(high resonance does lower the bass a bit, but nothing near a 24db/oct moog). The distortion circuit is geared to tame the filter resonance as it gets pretty squeaky. (cuts the high frequency more like an overdrive - so I’m pretty ‘meh’ about it, but you may like it like that - I’m only complaining 'cause I’m privileged to have a moog slim phatty, which has one of the best analog distortion in any synth evar!) The three speeds of the envelope are a detail I use and like more than I’d have thought(super snappy to super long). Unlike some Pittsburgh Modular stuff, the ‘scaling of the knobs’ when turning is close to perfection(just how you’d expect a high-end synth to behave) And the two LFO’s are just crazy. If you’re into experimental stuff, they’re perfect for FM and all of that gnarly stuff. They go super fast and also break down at higher speeds and get non linear, so there’s an entire world to explore(very hard to get the same sound twice). If you make psytrance or bass or dubstep music, you’ll get miles of usage from 'em. I wanted a nice sounding/knob per function/no fuss analog to pair with my Digitakt, dial in sounds quickly then sample them and afterwards just use it for bass.(where it’s a monster! - actually it’s a monster at everything it’s simple architecture can conjure. It’s all a sweet spot basically. Super happy with it, deserves the price tag! Hope this helps!
I loved mine when I had it. Felt premium and sounded really nice!
