Granular Sampler/Mangler Plugins Similar to Morphagene

Hi everyone,

Slightly editing this thread.

Just got back from a friend’s house where we played with his Morphagene. Really inspiring piece of gear that seemed to effortlessly spit out the type of sounds I’ve been looking for: pitched down, saturated, mangled goodness. It was great how quickly a simple sequence could turn in to something so gritty and alien.

I’d love to incorporate something like this in to my current setup, which is a Digitakt and Virus running in to Ableton. My questions are: what kind of box would I need to House and power the morphagene, as well as connect it to the Digitakt? I may also add a second module (looking at Serge Resonant EQ and Magneto).

I’m not certain how much work is involved but I think you can convert the organelle patches to work with PD running on your computer.

Thanks! I’ve given it some thought over the last few hours, and decided to just splurge for the morphagene. Thread edited and taking on a new path!
