From a brief look at the features, it looks impressive and not as astronomically expensive as I assumed it would be. Very interesting!
I pulled the trigger on one of these before the pre-orders ran out. Definitely the most expensive piece of music gear I’ve bought (it was a tad cheaper during preorder).
It seems like an excellent sounding digital+analog modular groovebox to build full things inside of. I don’t know of a groovebox that can sound like this (this is the Anamono, the predecessor of the Urano).
Feels like I’m cheating on Drambo, but I don’t think they can replace one another even though there is definite overlap.
gotherman’s urano sounds like a medical condition
Four more available. These are coming in small batches because of chip shortage issues https://www.gotharman.dk/index.htm
Does anyone here have any experience with the Urano ?
So i just got my Urano and my mind is blown ! Dont judge Gotharman by the demos on youtube. The Urano can sounds very analog , digital, harsh or smooth.
I had the Anamono X in the past and the Urano is everything i wished the Anamono X was (better UI, more OSCs types, wavetable, better sequencer etc )
Its not cheap but i feel its worth every penny. Selling my Octatrack and my Rytm.
Edit : I have the VCF2 and VCF52 filter boards with 93 min sampling.
This synth is being discontinued, and this week is 20% off! Its a pretty insane digital chaos box
Just a simple sequence to test FM on wavetable. Its a single wavetable OSC frequency modulated by a sin . Just playing with the param while the sequence is playing.
