Going live with Analog Rytm + Mixer question

I got a deal on a Mackie 1640. I’m wanting to use it as part of a live electronic setup. I’m wondering about what rack or external processing gear I may need. For example the mixer EQ doesn’t carve anything below 100 Hz which I think I need to separate kick and bass and generally deal with too much low end build up, so perhaps an external EQ or filter. Other considerations are compressor and perhaps a delay and reverb. Trying not to break the bank. Pedals are also an option. Basically want to set up my AR + synths and have it all coming out sounding decent…Without breaking the bank.

Any suggestions.experience?

I would just use the built-in compressor on the AR as well as the built in delay, reverb, and filter. If you’re just using the AR by itself (which your post kind of implies?), I’d bypass the mixer and just work on building great sounding kits inside the AR. I’ve seen some AR only live performances that sounded really great! ymmv
