Very nice sounding for a first video. I might worry about the breadth of the sound for the price it commands but I’m sure it has more to offer than shown here. Good to see independent efforts like this becoming available.

This looks beautiful, original and fun.

Really cool looking design. I’ve personally never used portamento for anything though and kind of hate it so this seems like a weird niche to me.

that is beautiful.

Beautiful design but agree on the sort of niche sound, at least what is shown so far. I love that indie synth makers seem to be coming out with great stuff these days though and I hope they all find an audience and keep going strong!

I have a new dream synth.

I think ambient and soundtrack people will be all over this. The polyrhythm sequencer seems really cool.

It looks like you have to use a computer to change the tunings which is probably a deal breaker for me.

Some nice sounds in there.

Ooof, that is IMMEDIATELY satisfying. A big part of me knows I’d just keep making the same sounds over and over again, but is that really such a bad thing? The polyphonic / polyrhythmic sequencer is super cool, too.

I’m actually grateful that it’s so expensive. Otherwise I might have seriously GASsed for it.

All that said, I’m very excited for this to get out into the wild. I can imagine other people using this to make the kind of music I want to hear.

Of all the Fun Chord Toys that have been released this year, this might be the funnest.

My friend Matt has been working on this for many years so I’m super excited that it’s finally ready. Hoping I can snag one. Looks beautiful and fun and supporting a friend is a HUGE bonus :metal:

In terms of design, I think this is the most beautiful piece of hardware I have ever seen. It also sounds stunning, I am blown away. Shame I am not a US resident, I will just have to wait…

I guess that was only for the first 15 units at a discounted price. The “Actual production run” presumably will be available in the usual places. In the EU maybe not thomann, but I guess Schneidersladen could resell them.

I doubt I can justify the asking price, but wow I’m love with this thingy.

My impression from a bit of texting with Matt today is that this has blown up beyond his expectations. He’s a pretty low-key and humble guy, so the response probably surprised him. I think he’s still navigating things like distribution and such as he perhaps calibrates for the broader interest.
