Global mute mode?

The Digitone II and Digitakt II have a MUTE mode that allows you to mute tracks using the [TRIG] or [TRACK] buttons.

This mode offers two variations:

GLOBAL MUTE MODE: Muting applies to all patterns (it is retained even when changing patterns); active tracks are displayed in green.

MUTE BY PATTERN MODE: Muting applies only to the active pattern; active tracks are displayed in purple.

Is it possible to do the same with the Tonverk?

Unfortunately no pattern mutes yet. I’m waiting for that to be added.

do we know for sure its not added? new release notes say “Muted subtracks affected mute-mode LEDs after switching to a non-Subtracks machine on the same track.”

mute mode…does it not have both and why wouldnt it?

You can mute on the TV but there isn’t a midi CC for mutes currently.

Especially the MUTE BY PATTERN MODE: Muting applies only to the active pattern; active tracks are displayed in (((PURPLE))).

And this also allows for muting tracks in song mode – a very useful feature, still missing.

Nobody, who has it, have stated that the Tonverk currently has pattern mutes.

There’s no change to mute mode in this update.

No pattern mutes yet and I can’t see anyone arguing against it :slight_smile:

To update this thread :wink: This is possible since FW 1.2.0:

Press MUTE and the Down Arrow (which lights up purple).
