Octa has MIDI Arps, Customizable LFOs and sample slices/chains
Digitakt has the Slice machine that can be controlled by LFO

What’s the Digitone magic toolkit for anti-loopiness beats?
Multimap (available only on DNI at the moment) with MIDI loopback?
Conditional trigs on multiple neighbouring tracks?
Or just combine Digitone with an external sequencer?

I found Euclidean randomize interesting. I tried on DT2 but it should be possible on DN2.

On DN1 I’d record sound locks live (Multi Map) and use Prob…or use external midi arp. Octatracks arp is cool for generative stuff too.

I found Euclidean crazy in a good way. A lot to explore here.
I started with preset locks and the locks are transferred well to Eucl teigs. MIDI only with NRPN which is bit complicated.
