Future Retro closes

Sad Day.

My friend Rob had an FR-777 in the late 90s that he modded for PWM and that was my first experience with an analog synth.

I used FR’s own in house XS sample pack in so many electro tracks too.

Very sad. Hopefully once things get better they can be revived.

FutureRetro went on hiatus between the release of the 777 and the Revolution. Fingers crossed Jered brings production back online once the supply chain is sensible again. I’m an original owner of a mk1 Revolution and 2 Mobius sequencers so I appreciate what he’s done over the years.

Oh very sad news, Jered is a really talented designer and was always extremely helpful in any interactions I had with him, he even let me buy a NOS TB-303 cpu from him at a fair price.

I had a very early purple face 777 which once belonged to Charlie Clouser, Jered gave me all the info about it including some mods, purchase date and a new eprom to add the new features of the production models.

I also had a mobius which was a very nice sequencer, I still have a Zillion which is also a great device.

I hope he is able to continue in some form in the future if he wishes.
