Free Wavetables

Thank you for your outstanding work !
I noticed something odd regarding the softube modular wavetables that are in the Free pack : the ones I checked were not starting on the 0v point and the pitch seems wrong. This means a block of 2048 samples won’t cover exactly the length of a single cycle.
I discovered this when I tried to slice it up to convert them to other formats…

Which Wavetable had the problem?
It is not a problem in the design of Wavetable that the waveform does not start at the 0v point.

It seemed to me that every Softtube wavetable that I checked had this issue but I’m not so sure. I’ll take a look in detail tonight and I’ll tell you precisely which ones seem to be problematic

And toherwise yes, you’re wright, the fact that the WT does not start at the 0v point is not a big deal.

I’ve just bought this. Are the 12 second wavs single cycle sample chains? Or are that one shots?

12-second wav files are neither single-cycle sample chains nor one-shots. They are waveform files for wavetable synthesizers like Serum and Vital.

Wavetable Pack Free Update – Expanded Support for Phase Plant & Digitakt2

What’s New:

• Expanded Phase Plant Compatibility with FFT Interpolation:
  I’ve added 256-frame versions of the wavetables for Phase Plant to M1 Wavetable Pack and WavetableBox. Some of the original wavetables had fewer frames, so I used FFT interpolation to ensure a smoother transition between frames.While I mention Phase Plant compatibility, these wavetables can be used in any synthesizer that supports a frame size corresponding to a 2048-sample wavelength per frame.Analog Wavetable Pack does not include a 256-frame version because all of its wavetables (except for single-cycle waveform collections) are already structured with 256 frames.
• Enhanced Wavetable Pack Update:
  As a bonus for all paid Wavetable Pack customers, I’ve updated the Enhanced Wavetable Pack, which now includes additional Phase Plant-compatible wavetables as well as wavetables converted for Digitakt2.
• Digitakt2-Compatible Wavetables:
  • I’ve updated WavetableBox with new wavetables converted for Digitakt2.

To prevent this, I used spectral interpolation to reduce the frame size while maintaining smooth transitions. This update is available for free.

The wavetables with a frame size of 1024 samples or less in the Analog Wavetable Pack have been updated with a more precise downsampling method.

For wavetable synth versions, integer-ratio interpolation is used, so there is virtually no change in the waveforms. However, for the Digitakt2-compatible wavetables, slight waveform variations may occur due to frame count adjustments. That said, these changes are minimal and have a negligible impact on sound quality.

This update enhances the accuracy of waveform reproduction, especially for Digitakt2. If you’ve already purchased the pack, I encourage you to check out the latest version!
