I’m currently designing studio furniture on paper and looking for CAD software to further work it out.
Most software I found looks unnecessary complex and too expensive for the times I’ll use it.
Does anyone know of CAD software that’s super easy in use for basic modeling and also free?
Autodesk Fusion for personal use might be a good option

Sketchup is definitely the best choice for that. It’s become a bit enshittified in recent years, but you can still find downloads for the last free, locally installed version if you poke around:

I’m using sketchup online now for free. I need to watch a few tutorials but I think I can do this.
First design is going to be a desk with 5 sections for rack gear.
Kinda like this fellow did but mine would be modular and can be taken apart, be smaller or bigger etc.
