Man, I love the Kingsway sample stuff on YouTube. The last year or so I went really deep into virtual instruments and sampled instrument libraries because I wanted to roll my own samples instead of sampling other people’s music. Unfortunately, I’ve yet to get there, but Kingsway is a big influence on me. It makes so much sense that FD would have been influenced by the Menhan Street Band. I’m a big fan of them as well.
I don’t know who is behind FORTHENIGHT, but I love this album. The first tune in particular is the kind of stuff I’d love to be able to make.
