Something I’ve just noticed

This forum has a great ability to mute threads ( all those arguments can vanish ). Threads discussing equipment I’ll never own or music I have no interest in can be muted

I just noticed it’s possible to mute entire sections of the forum

Eg I don’t own a model cycles and unlikely to , it’s possible to mute everything with one click.

Click on the sub thread heading and the circular dot / option box is accessible, allowing you to mute the entire lot.

I’ll try posting images in a short while.

It may sound dismissive , but other forums I visit ( gearslutz for example ) don’t have this option which leaves a lot of threads I’ll next want to visit to swipe past .

If you want to avoid buying gear you could mute for sale thread !!!

I did search for a short while looking for a related thread but nothing cropped up , otherwise I wouldn’t have started another duplicate thread ( another thing I like to use mute on ).

Thanks, but I think I will mute this thread. I don’t like helpful tips.
