Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 blown

I think I’ve blown up my beloved Focusrite Scarlett 3rd Gen!!
Whilst I wait for a reply from Focusrite as to the warranty, can anybody recommend what to do - I am used to providing a left and right input to the focusrite and it goes via USB comms to my DAW which is Logic Pro X. I just need to replicate what this did.

Any any ideas really welcome, stressed eric

What was plugged in when it blew up?
What were you doing when it blew up?
Did you turn on phantom power when you shouldn’t have?

the focusrite got 24v vs 12v. I’ve no idea what phantom power is, is there anything i can do here at all ? Desperate to play tunes and restore this device

Does that mean you plugged in the wrong power supply?

it does indeed

Did you tell them that in your email?

not yet

Have you heard of overbridge and Elektron devices ability to work as an Audiointerface?

I’ve got the octatrack, will that do it ? I only recently got it

Octatrack doesn’t support Overbridge. Only AR, A4, DT, DN, DNK, & AH do.

As far as your Focusrite, if it doesn’t power on, then it could be a blown capacitor or two. Or a fuse. I’d wait to see what Focusrite support tells you.
