Focusrite is selling a 26 in 28 out usb c interface.
- 2 channels of ISA preamp with Lundahl LL1538 input transformers.
- 6 channels of Focusrite preamps which will sound similar to the Clarett line. Every time you keep asking them if it’s equal to red line on YouTube comments they dodge the question. So now I’m assuming it’s the clarett line.
- Console mode for variable saturation
- 430 air mode for the high end enhancement on the ISA preamp.
Starting at 2300US

I don’t understand why people want their analog signal chains, which can last for decades and decades, integrated with their digital interfaces which they will likely have to replace within 10yrs.

This one looks pretty nice.
Just wanted to hop in to say, apologies if we missed your questions in the YouTube comments. I believe we have now responded to them all. Rest assured, we haven’t been dodging or avoiding anything, just had lots of questions and comments about ISA C8X since the announcement on Tuesday afternoon, which has been great to see! The specs are also published on the product page on the website. You can also DM us if you ever have any questions.
As I said there, mic preamps 3–8 are the latest Focusrite preamp design, featuring digital control, 69 dB of gain, and excellent audio specifications. Additional features include auto gain, analogue Air, and variable Drive DSP. These preamps evolved from a design that originally premiered on RedNet 4 and later RedNet MP8R and they are also used in some of the 4th Gen Scarlett range.

Oh so it’s Rednet quality ? Ok then that’s a great deal for an overall interface. Thanks John.
