Flex your coolest piece of gear

It can be anything from synths to pedals to Marimbas, I want something spicy to look at at lunch.

Ok, it’s not a million dollar vintage gear, but I’m very attached to it: I bought it new at the store in 1987 and it still works like the first day. Super easy to program, the default samples (12bit) try to emulate an acoustic drum, but there are also available external cards with different drumsets to load in the frontal slots of the unit. Here’s a demo:

Well, I’m trying to sell it, but it’s easily the coolest piece of gear I currently have. 1865 parlor guitar

When Polyend discontinued the Medusa, I contacted them and learned they still had some parts lying around, so they made the last batch of Medusas. I asked them to ship the last one they made.

So yeah, I have the last Medusa. Not just an amazing synth, but a special one.

By the way, I’ve heard they still have some from that batch years later.

The Klee was the first major DIY I did. Fun build, and should find another thru hole kit of similar size. Not sure how some can find solace in SMD kits. That stuff stresses me out. Afraid I’ll sneeze and it’s bye-bye tiny component the size of a flake of skin. Also I suck at getting the multi-pin ICs attached.
