FLEX sample not adding up in grid

I have a sample in 83.4 BPM that works perfectly when i let it loop on its own. When i try to loop it by triggering it on the first trig for a full bar it doesn’t really get even/tight/correct tempo.

should i change the original tempo before loading it into OT to make it work better? what have i missed?

In the audio editor attributes page what are the settings?

timestretch on/off?
what does the original tempo say? length etc

use 44.1, OT doesn’t like 48
