Fine tuning?

I’m sure there’s some obvious control / shortcut I’m missing, but how do I fine tune parameter changes. There are so many ways to change it by a lot at a time (Function + or pushing the knob down), but I can’t figure out / find in the manual where I can change it by a very small mount.

For instance, I’d like to change the pitch of a sample by less than .2 semitones at a time.

Thanks.

i’m unaware of finer control, but i’d hope that lfo modulations would interpolate, perhaps offering finer control potential, not ideal, but handy in a crisis where you may want to retune - just use a low depth setting on a custom lfo with a flat shallow offset and tune to taste

The internal resolution of many parameters is finer than what the knob control permits. It can be heared with LFOs, Scenes, and P-lock slides.

Two ways to access it.

  1. scenes
If you want to get between two integer parameters, scene lock consecutive values and use the crossfader. Quick and easy. Useful for resampling.

  2. If you need to save the “in-between” value with the pattern, a static LFO is the way to go. Use the designer, and create a non-zero horizontal line.

Nice one!

Just wanted to pop in LITERALLY 10 YEARS LATER to tell you that this technique cracked a major problem for me tonight. Thank you!

1 value on lfo designer, speed 0 is faster to setup. Trig mode
2024 technique.

hahah the field continues to advance

I used the LFO designer trick above but created a straight line all the way across rather than using a single value and 0 speed + trig mode. Great tip. Thanks!
