Definitely, these videos are great! Watched them religiously.
Fantastic video! Learned lots, and was happy that I could follow / understand what was happening with 90% of it (as a new user).
One thing I wasn’t able to follow is the freeze delay. How were you triggering the stutter freeze delay? I understand playing the trigs from 9-16 play those tracks, but what was playing the trigs 1-8 doing? I thought those were midi trigs in that layout.
Any insight on this you might be willing to share?
Thanks again.
1-8 is the depth of the freeze delay with 1 being the most restarts and 8 being the least.
Excellent @mpiecora Thank you for this tutorial and the other educational videos you have created to help us who are new to the OT game.
Funny, I was just thinking about how I’d like to see a quick walkthrough on live sampling/re-sampling and how to set that up. I’m looking forward to watching this. Sounds like it’s a solid video.
Yeah, it’s the delay length/buffer size.

im years late but damn this is mental
I am sure most of you have already thought of this but I enjoy making very short and concise tutorials so here is another one. Everything can be done here with your stock “toolbox” in the Digitakt.

Made this tutorial to get you started live coding with ORCA. The video features an OP-Z but you can easily exchange that with any piece of Elektron gear for awesome results.
Interesting, thank you!
You’re welcome!
yes! Thanks for this. There isn’t a whole lot to go on, when trying to learn orca. What saves a lot of headaches is that it’s fairly straightforward, once you learn the commands. All the same, I’m glad someone (you) put this together.
No problem! I hope you enjoy it

ORCA is super cool, and thanks for making this video!
Found out about ORCA in a rather odd way.
I’d been watching various sailing videos (circumnavigation mainly) on YouTube during the pandemic, kind of a way to travel without traveling, and the YT algorithm recommended the channel of the developers, who happen to sail.
Then I hear in the videos them talking about programming, and ORCA is mentioned.
The internet can be a very small world sometimes.
