Extremely weird AR and Ableton bug

I have a really weird problem in Ableton 9.7.4. I use Ableton and AR with overbridge.

Here it goes: When I program a pattern on OH on my Rytm and change a track in Ableton, the synth level immediately goes down to 0 when I change the view on another track. That is: NO OH SOUND AT ALL just because I switched the view inside Ableton…

This only happens on the OH channel!

I can fix this (somewhat) when I turn off CC//NRPN receive on midi.

It seems Ableton sends something when you change a track view - which is really weird.

Did body else noticed this?

Yep, happens to me too. I also “fix” it by turning off CC/NRPN receive. But, sometimes I need that turned on, so not really a fix.

There’s definitely some MIDI weirdness passed to Rytm from Ableton. AMP level goes to 0, Note page - Synth switch turns to OFF position, etc. Sometime PAN goes all the way in one direction. This type of thing. Another fun one is seeing all the PERF buttons start glowing out of nowhere.

Never seem to have these issues when not connected to Ableton.

Have the same issue with my Digitakt. Any idea if that’s Ableton / my project bug? Is there any other solution than turn off CC/NRPN receive?

Not that I know of.
