External USB led/light working with M:S?

Hi

First post here

Got a Model:Samples recently and having pretty creative fun times

However I like making music in dim lighting/dark and the M:S needs some light to be able to see what you’re doing

I don’t have a mini USB to LED/Light gooseneck here, but would it work with a Model:Sample?

I don’t think the USB Port will provide power.

It’s not a USB-A port so no.

Get one of these. I have one, exellent. There’s warm white/bright white and a lovely yellow/white. It charges via usb and lasts some hours. It small but easily bright enough.

Thanks all - @og_tea_boi : good idea! Ha, sometimes the answer is in front of us, I have four of these for grand piano and music stands, did not think about it :man_facepalming:

Now that I think of it, one of these might also do (although often very bright)
