External sequencing question

Peace!
I’m trying to sequence my RYTM externally with Logic.

I have an external midi track set up and the AR is selected.

The first time I did this… it went off without a hitch. I believe the BD track was C0, the SD C#0 and so on…

Now when I do it… the whole keyboard range will play only one sound (pitched up and down BD) per Midi channel.

How do I have every pad respond on only one midi channel? I don’t know what I switched. Changing the various pads to the same midi channel on the AR makes the sounds play simultaneously.

not quite

The BD responds to Midi note 0 (from 0-127)

different systems map the midi range to C nomenclature - so C-2 may be midi note 0
